Our client is an innovative Hedge Fund with $4 billion AUM, and they are looking for a Front-End Web Developer/Designer to join their team in San Francisco. This person will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining an internal web-based application. This position will provide the front end application for traders, portfolio managers, and risk manager. Requirements:
1. EXPERT HAND CODING IS A MANDANDTORY REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION.
2. Hand coding is required in the following languages:
a. XHTML : clear, concise, symantic HTML
b. CSS : CSS-based layouts
c. JavaScript : code-from-scratch as well as existing libraries
d. Ajax : complex Ajax-based application development
3. DOM scripting : highly responsive page manipulation
4. Minimum 3 Years Experience In web design and development
5. Have a working knowledge of ASP/JSP or equivalent
6. Comfort in Java/SQL a bonus
7. 80% development, 20% design
8. Familiar with Flash/ActionScript or are interested in learning
9. Working knowledge of interface design tool (e.g. Photoshop)
10. Financial knowledge a plus
